Official name : Type 12 electric train with a control device.
This old type train had been running 0.6 mile (Ookawa Station - Musashi Shiraishi Station).
Only this train was able to run the sharp curve in this section , so was not scrapped.
But it retired in spring of 1996 because the body was too worn out and parts which was used for repairs was shortage.
Now , one is scarapped and the other is preserved.
This type KUMOHA12 was a rare old type train in Japan , so when it retires , a lot of train fans regretted.

Tsurumi-Line runs in Keihin industrial disrict.
Excluding the section (Ookawa Station - Musashi Shiraishi Station) , trains which consisted of 3 yellow vehicles of Type 103 ran in this line.
Now , Type 103 runs in this section , but cannot stop at Musashi Shiraishi Station because of the sharp curve.
So , it runs from Ookawa Station to Anzen Station.
I recommend visiting Umishibaura Station.

Electric cars is distinguished new type and old type by methods to install an electric motor.
Old one supports half of electric motor's weight by its own axle.
But new one doesn't supprot its weight by it.
Old type train howles when its motor works.
The first new type train is type 90.(Now it is called type 101.)
Old type train which now runs in metropolitan area is Tobu type 5000.

Type 101 train is a commuter train which have 4 doors.
First , it was introduced in Yamanote-Line.
After that , it spread the whole of Japan.
Type 103 train is alter a type 103's gear rate low.
Type 103 train is more strong in a short distance than type 101.
Now , in metropolitan area , Type 101 train is not seen.
In appearance , we cannot tell the defarence between type 101 and type 103 with motorman's seat which is placed at the low position.
This train is used in Soubu-Line and Keiyo-Line.
